LYNX National Arts & Media Camps

2017 Camps - June 18-30, July 9-21 and July 31-Aug 4

The LYNX National Arts and Media Camps are summer immersion programs for high school students interested in music and the arts hosted on the University of Colorado Denver campus and sponsored by the CU Denver College of Arts & Media. Students learn from faculty, are mentored by current students and bond with other students who have a shared passion for the art!

Application Deadlines

We anticipate that some programs will fill to capacity so students are encouraged to apply early! 

Priority Deadline​*- March 31, 2017 

Regular Deadline
May 15, 2017

Late Deadline (Session Three Programs Only)
July 23, 2017

*Student who apply by the priority deadline receive priority for admission and scholarships.

We will try to review applications within a week after submission (teacher/counselor recommendation form must also be received).​​

LYNX Camp courses are taught by CU Denver College of Arts & Media faculty members in our state-of-the-art facilities. Leading arts professionals from the Denver community and beyond provide guest lectures and performances. In addition to customized instruction in an academic program of choice, students have the opportunity to experience the programs offered at the College of Arts & Media. During Sessions One and Two of the camp, evening and weekend activities are provided that consist of cultural, recreation and co-curricular programs.
