Green Architecture, Emerging Technologies and Materials, Sustainable Environments, Measuring Green Building Performance.
Dr. Attmann’s research seeks to understand how the basic principles of sustainable environments can be integrated with architecture to satisfy the emerging and future needs of people. His aim is to incorporate and in some cases to induce green design guidelines in architectural environments in order to produce sustainable buildings.
He has worked in sustainable building-related research for 15 years and is the author of several publications on sustainable environments and green buildings, including his recent book Green Architecture and current manuscript Anatomy of Green Buildings. His current research focuses on developing a comprehensive guide to designing, implementing, and measuring green buildings.
Dr. Attmann is professionally involved in a variety of advanced technology and material research and Green projects. He is the Principal of Green-Tecture Studio: Architectural Design and Emerging Technologies research and advisory firm.
