Colorado Center for Community Development

The Colorado Center for Community Development (CCCD) is a clinical teaching practice of the University of Colorado Denver, College of Architecture and Planning. Our mission is to provide students with real world experiences in design and planning as they provide communities and neighborhoods with preliminary concepts that aid in securing both support and funding for community projects.

Hometown Colorado

Kick-off Event

September 16th
3:30 pm – 5 pm
CU Denver Building 2nd Floor

Join us as we kick off CU Denver’s new Hometown Colorado initiative with our inaugural community partner, the City of Lakewood. Learn more about this initiative and the community projects that faculty across campus are incorporating into their courses. Lakewood’s projects offer students an opportunity to learn while moving Lakewood’s sustainability goals forward.

Lakewood’s mayor, Bob Murphy, Provost Rob Nairn, and College of Architecture and Planning Dean Mark Gelernter are scheduled to attend, as well as faculty and city staff that are participating this year.

We have a NEW "Our People" page. Click here to see the people hard at work for the CCCD
