Colorado Center for Community Development

The Colorado Center for Community Development (CCCD) is a clinical teaching practice of the University of Colorado Denver, College of Architecture and Planning. Our mission is to provide students with real world experiences in design and planning as they provide communities and neighborhoods with preliminary concepts that aid in securing both support and funding for community projects.

One of our latest projects:
NEWSED and Su Teatro

CCCD students presented ideas for activating space at NEWSED and Su Teatro, located on Santa Fe Drive. Andrea Barela and Donovan from NEWSED and Tony Garcia from Su Teatro were very excited about ideas proposed, including movable food carts, a second entrance to the theatre, seating and shade for outdoor activities, and a gateway to the area between NEWSED and Su Teatro that would welcome people into the space.

We have a NEW "Our People" page. Click here to see the people hard at work for the CCCD
