One of the foundations of our identity system is our logo – also known as the logo signature. Our logo signatures provide a consistent, identifiable mark that supports the University of Colorado brand while providing a clear and strong campus or unit identifier.

Our logo architecture includes two elements: the CU logomark, and a wordmark listing university, campus and (in the case of logo signature extensions) unit affiliation. These components are always placed in a fixed relationship and should never be altered, modified or redrawn. Logo signatures are standardized throughout the University of Colorado system.
Custom-designed logos, wordmarks and alternate identities for all university entities are prohibited. For more information, please visit the Subidentities and co-branding section of this website.
The following pages describe our logo system in greater detail. Logos are available for download by current university employees in the Assets and Downloads section.
