These Standards are only for use by the University of Colorado Denver, its
consultants and standing-order contractors. They are to be used as a design guideline
for University of Colorado Denver building and construction projects. Design
teams and consultants shall provide project-specific documents and
specifications based on program needs, code analysis and engineering analysis.
All changes from the previous 2005 Guidelines and Standards are highlighted in
yellow, for parts 0.0 through part 3.0. The 2011 update has a completely new part 4 for the Anschutz Medical
Campus and for the Denver Campus in the 2010 CSI Masterformat. Design teams
must request a Microsoft Word version of division 1 from University project
managers and limit editing to items in bold type. CSI Masterformat Sections
2-33 are a guide for design teams to create a specification and must be reflected
in every project. Design teams must match the CSI Masterformat numbering in
these guidelines with part 4 CSI Masterformat numbering.
