The Office of the Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities Management oversees university functions including building maintenance and operations, budget and operations, facilities projects, roads and grounds maintenance, engineering and energy management, central utility plant operations, parking and transportation, housekeeping, fire and life safety, building code compliance, and materials management. Additionally, the associate vice chancellor serves on the Emergency Management Organization Group and the Campus Council on Sustainability as a co-chair for both.
