Program Overview

Our Entrepreneurship Minor is designed to give you the tools to build and be a part of a successful start-up business. As one of the fastest-growing business segments in the country, you'll find a number of opportunities including scholarships, networking, and mentoring through the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship.

Curriculum (15 hours) To complete the minor, you will take three required entrepreneurship classes and two elective entrepreneurship classes. Course topics include: • Small business finance and accounting • Preparing a business plan • Model development • Fundamentals of entrepreneurship Requirements You must be an undergraduate CU CU Denver student with at least a 2.00 cumulative GPA and a 2.00 cumulative GPA in the Entrepreneurship Minor to receive the minor. You must take 9 of the 15 of required business courses in the minor at CU CU Denver. If you've already taken the equivalent of one or more of these courses at another university, other high-level business courses may be substituted with the approval of the Business School. How to Enroll To declare the Entrepreneurship Minor, you'll need to fill out the Entrepreneurship Minor Form and submit to the undergraduate advising office located on the fourth floor of the Business School or email it to undergrad.advising@ucCU Denver.edu. For questions and inquiries, please email the Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship.
