Program Overview
The Business Minor requires students to take the same business core classes as our Bachelor of Science students. This minor is more intensive than the Business Fundamentals Minor, because it gives you a stronger base in all business disciplines
Curriculum (15 hours+ possible prerequisite)
The curriculum consists of two required courses and three elective courses. You may have to take an additional math course as a prerequisite for the accounting course. Course topics include:
• Business analytics
• Business law and ethics
• Managing of individuals and teams
• Information systems
Requirements
You must be a non-business undergraduate CU CU Denver student with at least a 2.00 cumulative GPA and a 2.00 cumulative GPA in the Business Minor to receive the minor. You must take 9 of the 15 of required business courses in the minor at CU CU Denver. If you've already taken the equivalent of one or more of these courses at another university, other high-level business courses may be substituted with the approval of the Business School.
How to Enroll
To declare a Business Minor, you'll need to fill out the Business Minor Form and submit to the undergraduate admissions office located on the fourth floor of the Business School or email it to bschool.admissions@ucCU Denver.edu.
