Turn Your Vision into Impact: Sustainability in Denver
CU Denver Business School invites alumni and community partners to take part in the Blair Gifford Mile High Sustainability Impact Challenge, a new competition focused on solving real sustainability challenges in downtown Denver. Interdisciplinary teams will develop bold, actionable ideas—from climate resilience and mobility to housing and energy—and compete for funding and pilot support. Alumni are eligible to participate and collaborate on teams that turn innovative thinking into measurable impact.
CU Denver continues to earn national recognition for value, career outcomes, and academic excellence. Recent rankings highlight CU Denver as No. 1 in Colorado for overall value and post-graduation salaries (Wall Street Journal), while multiple programs rank among the best in the state and nation. Explore the latest rankings and what they mean for your degree.
An Alumni Connection That Changed Everything
Maggie Kuchinski MBA ’25 turned a decade of military service and a CU Denver degree into a purpose-driven career in construction, thanks in part to a connection with Ray Pittman MBA ’16. After meeting at graduation, Ray invited Maggie to explore the industry and ultimately hired her onto his team. It’s a powerful example of how CU Denver’s alumni community turns relationships into real-world opportunity.
