Health Systems, Management and Policy offers students several program options including the Master of Public Health, Master of Science, a PhD program in Health Services Research, and a PhD in Health Economics offered jointly with the Economics Department at CU Denver. COVID-19:  All classes are now online.

Professors Bradley and Perraillon's new study shows that receiving care in specialized cancer  treatment centers significantly increases the likelihood of using high-cost agents for both urban and rural residents. Journal of the National Cancer Institute

The HSMP department is collaborating with ACCORDS in their newly formed Economic Evaluations core.



Faculty expertise

Systems for Action --a research program that tests strategies for aligning delivery and financing systems for medical care, public health, and social services in ways that improve population health-- has moved to the Colorado School of Publich Health. Health Economics. The HSMP department has extensive expertise in health economics and policy. We offer a doctoral degree in Health Economics jointly with the Economics Departement at the CU Denver campus. Learn more here
Health Policy at the Anschutz Campus: The HSMP department works closely with other departments and centers doing health policy research like the Eugene S. Farley, Jr. Health Policy Center and ACCORDS.
