Community & Behavioral Health

Welcome to the Department of Community and Behavioral Health at the Colorado School of Public Health. From mental health and fitness to community health education, policy and practice, we're public health researchers and professionals who understand that social and behavioral factors influence individual and community health. We're dedicated to working on the frontlines of public health through investigating, applying, and evaluating solutions that address the critical health problems faced by our communities.

Our department offers a Doctor of Public Health, a Master of Public Health and certificate programs in several concentration areas on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus, three concentrations in our Master of Public Health in Community Health Education at the University of Northern Colorado, and an online MPH in Leadership and Public Health Practice. Through our programs, students are prepared to address the social, cultural, political, economic and environmental factors that influence community health.

Come explore our department and see how you can influence the health in our communities.

In addition to our traditional MPH and DrPH programs in Community & Behavioral Health, the department now offers six certificates focused on the learning and practice of skills needed to protect and promote the health of our communities.
