Undergraduate Working Group

The Undergraduate Working Group is a campus-wide forum for airing concerns and developing solutions to undergraduate-education-related issues, typically those that cross the boundaries between offices and/or academic units. All schools/colleges and student-facing staff offices are invited to nominate agenda items and attend the monthly meetings. Dean's offices, advising offices, the Registrar's Office, the Admissions Office, and the Orientation Office, among others, frequently attend. The UWG is chaired by the associate vice chancellor for undergraduate experiences or her/his designee, or may be co-chaired with a representative from Student Affairs. In cases where the UWG proposes to revise or create CU Denver policy, it seeks review and approval through the associate vice chancellor for academic affairs, the Denver-campus associate deans and deans, and, ultimately, the provost.
