Reisher Application Information

Eligibility Requirements:

Reisher Scholarship for Sophomore Students
Due Date: April 1

$4,000 - $11,000 annually for up to three years
     •   Be a Colorado Resident
     •   Be enrolled as a full-time college student with an expected graduation date of three years from the date you are first selected as a Reisher Scholar
     •   Have and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
     •   Show financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
     •   Work an average of 10 or more hours per week during the academic year

Reisher Scholarship for Community College Transfer Students
Due Date: May 1
 $4,000 - $11,000 annually for up to two years
     •   Be a Colorado Resident
     •   Be enrolled as a full-time college student with an expected graduation date of two years from the date you are first selected as a Reisher Scholar
     •   Be a transfer student from a community college with junior status (54–75 transferable credits)
     •   Have and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher
     •   Show financial need by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
     •   Work an average of 10 or more hours per week during the academic year

The Scholarship
Awards are made to full-time students who have successfully completed one year of college (24 credit hours) at UC Denver or will be transferring in as a junior after completing  two years at a community college.  Applicants must be Colorado residents, have and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA, and have significant financial need according to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The Donors
The Reisher Family established the Reisher Family Scholarship Fund in January 2000 with the goal of helping worthy students from families with limited financial means complete their college or university degree.
