E-Bill Program

The online bill payment program

The University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus utilizes an official E-Bill (electronic billing) program.  All registered students must access their student account bill through the UCD Access portal.

Student Information

 What are E-Bills?

E-Bills are online student billing statements. E-Bills display the same information as paper billing statements (for example: charges for tuition and fees, as well as credits and payments).

1

Why does UC Denver use E-Billing as the official billing method?

E-Bills save paper and postage, are accessible 24 hours a day from anywhere with internet access, allow easy access for parents and other authorized third parties, and eliminate the need to wait by the mailbox for a bill to arrive.

2

When do I receive my E-Bill?

As a student, you will receive a monthly notification to your official University email account stating that your current E-Bill is available. This email notification will include a link to the UCDAccess portal and step-by-step instructions for accessing your E-Bill.

3

How do I access my E-Bill?

To access your E-Bill, please logon to the UCDAccess portal, click on the "Student" tab, then click the yellow "Student Center" button. Choose from the available payment/viewing options listed under the "Finances" section and follow the instructions provided.

4

 Can I print my E-Bill?

Yes. You may access a .PDF version of your E-Bill which very closely resembles the paper billing statement you are accustomed to receiving. This .PDF E-Bill may be printed on any standard printer.

To access and print this .PDF version of your E-Bill, please select the “View E-Bill” link from the "Finances" section of the Student Center in UCDAccess. Your most recent E-Bill will appear. To access the printable version of your E-Bill, select the .PDF icon.

5

What if I am having trouble printing my bill?

Denver Campus students: You may visit the Student Service Center on the 5th floor of Academic Building 1 for assistance in printing your E-Bill.

Anschutz Medical Campus students: You may visit the Bursar’s Office in the Student Services area on the 3rd floor of Education 2 North for assistance in printing your E-Bill.

6

Does this impact my payment options?

No, your payment options will not change as a result of the E-Bill program. You may pay online with an electronic check or credit card*, in-person at the Student Service Center, or mail a check or money order payment to the address provided on the .PDF version of your E-Bill.

The Denver Campus Student Service Center is located on the 5th floor of Academic Building 1.

Anschutz Medical Campus Student Services area is located on the 3rd floor of Education 2 North.

*Credit Card payment options are only available for Downtown Denver Campus student tuition and fee payments.

7

Can other people view my E-Bill and make payment?

Yes. You may set up other individuals (such as a parent, guardian, employer, or other third party) as “Authorized Payers” to view your E-Bill and make payment online. Any Authorized Payer you establish will receive an email notification each time a new E-Bill is available. If your parent or guardian typically pays your tuition and fee bill, UC Denver encourages you to establish that person as an Authorized Payer.

To establish an individual as an Authorized Payer, simply select the “Setup Authorized Payers” link in the "Finances" section of the Student Center in UCDAccess and follow the instructions provided. You may create up to 5 unique Authorized Payers.

8

Do I see my current account balance when I look at my E-Bill?

Not necessarily. Your E-Bill is basically a snapshot of your student account – very much like any paper bills you may receive. Any student account activity that has taken place since the E-Bill was created will not be reflected. The “Account Balance” provided in the "Finances" section of the Student Center in UCDAccess is your true student account balance.

9

Who should I contact if I have further questions about E-Bills?

You may contact the UC Denver Bursar’s Office with additional questions about E-Billing. Please send your question to the following address: bursar@ucdenver.edu.
