Financial Aid

My CU Denver Prospective Student Portal:

All communication about your financial aid application is sent to you via e-mail. E-mail will go to the address you provided on your application until the time that you’re assigned a University e-mail account.

• If you applied for admission online through a University web site you will initially view information about your financial aid application in the My CU Denver Prospective Student Portal (www.ucdenver.edu/myucdenver). Log in to it using the username (User ID) and password that you created when applying for admission.
• If you applied for admission through a national service (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy), create an account in the My CU Denver Prospective Student Portal (www.ucdenver.edu/myucdenver).
• Click on the Need Help? button, and then click on the Please Register link.
• You will be notified via e-mail once for your login information and a second time your password information.
• After logging into the portal, you may view information about your financial aid application through this portal.
• College of Nursing students: After you are admitted, you can claim your UCD Access Portal account. Please follow the instructions under the Continuing Student tab.
• If you applied to a Denver Campus program via a paper form, follow the instructions under the Continuing Students tab.

How Do I Get to Student Center?

Note: Financial aid is awarded on a first come first served basis. We recommend financial aid applicants file their federal tax returns as early in the calendar year as possible so that their tax data is availability through the IRS Data Retrieval Tool when completing the FAFSA application. Income tax return data is available through the IRS Retrieval Tool 3 weeks after electronic tax filing and 8 weeks after paper tax filing.
