UCD Access Student Portal:
All communication about your financial aid application is sent to you through your University e-mail account. To view information about your financial aid application go to the UCD Access Portal (ucdenver.edu/UCDAccess) where you can access the Student Center to see detailed information about your application.
How do I get to Student Center?
There are three primary areas in the Student Center of the portal to be aware of for financial aid:
- The To Do List will show you a list of any documents that you need to submit and/or any actions you need to take to complete your application. Once your application is complete we will determine the financial aid awards that you are eligible to receive.
- The View Your Financial Aid link allows you to view your awards. We will send you an e-mail when your awards are available.
- The Accept/Decline Awards link allows you to view and accept, reduce, or decline your offered awards. We will send you an e-mail when your awards are ready.
How do I accept or decline my awards in Student Center?
Follow the instructions very carefully to avoid delay in receiving your financial aid.
Note: Financial aid is awarded on a first come first served basis. We recommend that you file your federal tax returns as early in the calendar year as possible so that your tax data is available through the IRS Data Retrieval Tool when completing the FAFSA application. Income tax return data is available through the IRS Retrieval Tool 3 weeks after electronic tax filing and 8 weeks after paper tax filing.
