The CRSC hosts a quarterly lecture series to help the research community develop and write outstanding human subject research protocols. Look for lecture announcements in January, April, June, and October. In addition, the CRSC also sponsors a Protocol Development Workshop, for junior faculty and trainees, three times per year. These small-group workshop sessions take a deeper dive into the actual development and writing of protocols, and are limited to individuals currently in the writing stage of a human research protocol.
The materials below are used for both of these learning opportunities. You may find some, or all, of these topics useful for self-guided learning as you design and write your protocol. Each handout below deals with a different section, or sections, of the protocol.
