New Student Orientation

Mission: New Student Orientation welcomes all incoming Lynx and their families, by creating a supportive, inclusive, and encouraging environment. NSO assists our diverse student population by ensuring a smooth transition through the academic, personal and social adjustments to life at CU Denver. Our programs are dedicated to helping students exceed their own expectations through graduation, all the while creating a community at CU Denver that feels like home. 

Learning Outcomes:

       ·       Articulate academic requirements and expectations

       ·       Name campus resources specific to student success

       ·       Identify a connection to CU Denver with peers, orientation leaders, staff, and / or faculty and articulate how that connection has impacted their transitional experience

       ·       Remain confident about their decision to attend CU Denver​
