Making an appointment
Visit the Counseling Center in person (CU Denver Students only)
We are located in the Tivoli 454. Come by during our walk in hours Monday-Thursday between 10-4 or Fridays between 11-2 and sign up for your intake (first appointment). This process can take 15-30 minutes depending on your needs.

Please call our center and leave your name and phone number. Our intake coordinator will call you back to schedule an intake (first appointment) that fits your schedule. Intake appointment times vary Monday – Friday from 10:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.
Arrive on time
Computer forms take about 30 minutes to complete.
These forms must be completed before you speak with a clinician. If you are
more than 15 minutes late to a scheduled appointment, your appointment
will need to be rescheduled.
You will meet with a clinician to discuss your
personal concerns and counseling services or other recommendations that may be
helpful. The initial intake appointment is for information gathering rather
than a therapy session and will last 50 minutes.
we are the best place for you to continue treatment, the Assistant Director
will assign you a clinician (who may or may not be the clinician with whom you
completed your intake appointment).

session. We can schedule appointments Monday – Thursday from 8-6 & Fridays

We have a strength based, flexible, brief therapy
model. When you are ready for these steps toward support, you can talk with
your counselor for 10 sessions.
