EHS Online Chemical Inventory Program

Program Overview

Colored Flasks

The University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus requires that all laboratories complete and maintain a chemical inventory for all of their laboratory chemicals using the Environmental Health and Safety online chemical inventory system located at:

Once an account has been created for a principal investigator (PI), members for the PI's lab can be added to the list of authorized users that can access and update a researcher's chemical inventory.

In order to have an account created for you to be able to access the online inventory system, simply e-mail your request to chemical.inventory@ucdenver.edu, alison.welch@ucdenver.edu or kara.franke@ucdenver.edu and identify yourself as either a principal investigator (PI) or as a member of a lab and identify your PIs name. Once your identity is verified you will receive a welcome e-mail informing you that your account has been created and is ready for you to use.

Accounts created for access to the online chemical inventory system use your existing university credentials to autheticate you so there is no need to remember a new set user name and passwords. Using your university credentials further ensures your accounts security by using the same password change policy as the university.

If you need further assistance feel free to e-mail us at chemical.inventory@ucdenver.edu or call us at 303-724-0344.

At the Denver campus, ChemSW/CisPro is the inventory software used for chemical inventories.  Contact Brian O'Connor to obtain your login information, user manual and bar code labels.  Login to the system at https://www.chemsw.com .  You may contact Brian or Debbie Witt for assistance after your account has been set up.
