The Occupational Health Program provides services to faculty, staff and students of the University of Colorado Denver Downtown Campus and Anschutz Medical Campus; Medical surveillances, risk assessments and clinical occupational health services are integrated with prevention of occupational illnesses and injuries.

The occupational health needs of the campuses and greater community are met by collaboration between UCD's Occupational Health Program and outside organizations. The goal of the Occupational Health Program is to support a safe and healthful workplace by protecting and enhancing the health and wellbeing of University employees.

There are no fees for most research-related occupational health services.  There may be fees associated with non-research related services.

If you are a new employee or researcher who will need Occupational Health clearance, you will need to complete the Initial Medical surveillance form (see sidebar on right) and make an appointment to come see us in the Occupational Health Clinic for a one time visit.  After the visit, we send a list to IACUC of persons seen and cleared.  If you need clinical services such as an updated Tetanus vaccine, we can provide this service at the time of the visit.  Please call 303-724-9030 to schedule an appointment for an "Initial Medical Surveillance visit".  You must have your Principal Investigator (PI), your ID number, speed type for billing, and depatment you work in.  If you get a voicemail recording, leave the best number for our front desk to return your call.  Please call or email us if you have any questions.

The Occupational Health Program is a division of Environmental Health and Safety for the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus and is NOT affiliated with the University of Colorado Hospital.

The University of Colorado Hospital's  Employee Health and Wellness is located in the Leprino Building, room 783.  To contact them please visit the University of Colorado's website at www.uch.edu or call 720-848-6849.
