Navigating Literature & Funding Landscapes: Conducting searches, identifying gaps and honing your researchSeminar Flyer
Developing your research and honing your projects is a process that should not be done in isolation. Understanding the literature and research in your area and identifying the gaps is crucial to defining a good project. Also important is understanding where the dollars are going in your field and having a sense of the funding landscape so you can find funding for your projects once they're developed. This seminar, offered in partnership with our Libraries, will be a hands-on workshop that will show you how to navigate the literature and the funding landscape as you tailor your research. You will also learn about the resources available to support you in this work.

Charting Your Research Path: Setting Goals and Managing Your Day-to-Day
Oftentimes, researchers are not as intentional as they could be when it comes to their research careers. Some stumble on to their research projects, and others jump into opportunities that may not be the best fit for them. Designed for early career researchers as well as those who are more advanced in their careers, you will set initial goals for your research career and discover tips and techniques for day-to-day management to allow you to work effectively toward your goals.
Please watch for this seminar on the Denver Campus in Spring, 2014
We look forward to working with you in our Faculty Seminars! Additional Seminars will be added shortly. Contact Naomi Nishi, ORDE Assistant Director, to join our ListServ and be among the first to hear about upcoming seminars (email@example.com).
