Biography
Dr. Pham-Kanter's research focuses on policy questions related to physician-industry relationships and conflicts of interest in medicine, particularly in relation to how they impact quality of care. Other research interests include pharmaceutical and medical device policy, physician behavior and physician labor markets, and health care disparities. In addition to her appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Systems, Management, and Policy at the Colorado School of Public Health, Dr. Pham-Kanter holds a faculty appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Colorado Denver. She also holds a Research Fellow appointment at Harvard University and at Massachusetts General Hospital.
