NIH: Using dental health videos during medical well child care visits to change caregiver oral health behaviors (09/15/11-08/31/13, Biostatistician) The goal of this study is to develop and conduct preliminary testing of theory-based narrative videos that can be used at medically attended well child care visits to promote healthy oral health behaviors in the parent/caregivers of infants and young children (age 0-3).

The Denver Foundation: Evaluation of Colorado Partnership for Children’s Oral Health/Cavity Free at Three (09/01/11-08/31/14, Biostatistician) The goal of this study is to measure the success of the Colorado Partnership in Children’s Oral Health program in increasing the number of Colorado dental practices who see children with Medicaid and to increase the number of dental practices who see young children < 3 years of age.

NIH/NINR: The diagnosis and treatment of critical illness polyneuromyopathy in patients with acute respiratory failure (09/01/09-9/30/14, Biostatistician) This is a clinical trial that will determine a new diagnostic test and therapeutic option for acute respiratory failure patients that have developed critical illness polyneuromyopathy.
