Marlin Cohrs, MBA, is a technology specialist and clinical instructor with Assistive Technology Partners in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Colorado | Anschutz Medical Campus. Mr. Cohrs has over 30 years of experience working with people with disabilities in the areas of research, administration, information systems and media development. He has particular expertise in database design, digital media and computer technology. He has served as the database coordinator for the Colorado Part C program and is the former administrator and acting director of the Colorado University Affiliated Program. His research interests include information management, training and the use of new technologies.
What I love about my job...
“I work with a great group of people at the University of Colorado who proselytize the use of assistive technology, generally devices and tools that allow a person with a disability to participate fully at school, home, work and play. My job is to facilitate the ability of the staff to do their work- I play with computers.”
