Initial Advising for New Transfer Students
Welcome to CU Denver and to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS)! We want to make sure you’re fully prepared to register for and successfully begin your initial set of classes. For incoming transfer students, your first academic advising requirement is to attend a Transfer Advising Group Session (TAGS). At TAGS, you will receive a transfer credit evaluation and work with a CLAS advisor to register for Spring 2018.
To begin, please download the following packet of handouts and watch the pre-session advising module to prepare you for TAGS. At the conclusion of the module, you will complete a survey and choose a registration session.
BEGIN ADVISING MODULE HERE. You will need to sign in using your CU Denver credentials, ie. email@example.com. To claim your account, go to Account Setup.
** Please note that there are no more TAGS available for the Spring admission cycle. Students who complete the online module and survey at this point will still be placed in a queue to have their updated evaulation completed and advisor assignment completed.
**If you are a new admit for the Summer or Fall 2018 semesters, we will begin hosting transfer advising group sessions in mid-March, prior to course registration opening up. Please check back as this time gets closer.
Feel free to call our office at (303) 315-7100 with any questions about TAGS. Thank you.
