Initial Advising for New Transfer Students
For students who are starting in the Spring 2017 semester
(term start date of January 17th, 2017), we will begin holding our
Transfer Advising Group Sessions (TAGS) in late October. Attendance to a TAGS is the initial advising
requirement for all incoming transfer students.
Upon attendance to TAGS, students will be provided with an updated copy
of their degree audit, be assigned a CLAS academic advisor and have their
college advising registration hold lifted.
We will be sending out correspondences to incoming Spring 2017
transfer students regarding next steps in the weeks leading up to the first
