Transfer students find a welcome home in International Studies and should meet with an International Studies advisor as soon as possible. A total of 24 credits for the major must be completed at CU Denver (48 total).
Introductory courses taken at other institutions may transfer into the major, but transfer credits for courses below 3000 generally cannot be counted. Newly admitted transfer students should follow the procedure outlined by the acceptance letter from the Admissions office to begin having transcript(s) evaluated. Transfer students who have begun taking classes at CU Denver should meet with their CLAS advisor to discuss their transcript evaluation and should meet with an International Studies advisor to map out their major.
