The mission of the Relationship Studies Lab is to advance basic and applied science regarding adaptive and maladaptive relationship processes, including how they interact with mental and physical health. Students in the lab contribute to this goal and are supported in their efforts to develop knowledge and skills in these areas. Members of the lab are actively engaged in all phases of the research process. This includes collaborative conceptualization of research ideas and design methods, data collection and analysis, as well as dissemination of research findings at conferences and in peer-reviewed journals. All activities in the lab, from how we interact with our participants to the analyses we publish, are conducted in an ethical manner.
