History students not only learn what has happened, they also learn to appreciate and understand the process of change. It's this perspective that makes the history minor an excellent complement to nearly any major.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS—18 CREDIT HOURS TOTAL
As of Fall 2006, no grade lower than a C will count for the History Minor.
Nine hours must be upper division (3000- and 4000-level).
Required History Courses—three total credit hours
HIST 3031, Theory and Practice of History—three credit hours
Take three credit hours in each of the following areas:
- The United States
- Europe
- World (Asia, Africa and Latin America)
Choose six credit hours of elective history courses.
