Part-time Work Coding Qualitative Data at the VA.  The VA is looking for a student to help with coding of a large qualitative data set using Atlas.ti. It's a team research project with great team-- looking for someone who can work about 16 hours per week, beginning in January 2013, and the pay would be around $16/hr. Some qualitative research experience is necessary.  Its a good opportunity to gain experience working with Atlas.ti and qualitative data sets.For more info, email: Leah.Haverhals@va.gov.​

Assistant/Associate/Full Professor at The Department of Health Disparities Research, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is accepting applications for tenured/tenure-track faculty at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level in any area of health disparities research.  Associate and Full Professor candidates must have a strong record of scholarly achievement and extramural funding, and Assistant Professor candidates must demonstrate strong promise in these areas.  We are particularly interested in  individuals with experience in population-based social, environmental, or geographic science; anthropological/qualitative science; community-based participatory research; or implementation and dissemination science.  However, applicants from all areas of expertise are welcome.

Make recommendations for cost efficiency and process improvements to the QI Director. Utilize software applications and information systems to perform work processes with responsibility for training QI staff and providing updates as necessary.
