Jerry D. Jacks, Instructor
MA, University of Colorado, 1990
Jerry Jacks died on Feb. 22, 2007 at the age of 71 while recovering from a quadruple bypass surgery. A passionate teacher, dedicated mentor and faculty member for nearly 20 years here at UC Denver, Jerry will be fondly remembered by all of us who knew him. We are proud to say that Jerry received the CLAS Award for Teaching Excellence among non-tenure track faculty at both the college and campus levels for 2006.
A celebration of life luncheon was held in the St. Cajetan's Center on Monday, April 2, 2007. UC Denver administrators, faculty and staff were present as well as current and former students who spoke about their remembrances.
