Scott is a native of Las Vegas, NV. He took a gamble and completed his undergraduate work in Frederick, Maryland, at Hood College. Within the large umbrella of Philosophy and Literature, Scott likes to tell people he specializes in Ancient Greek and Roman philosophy and the literature of the European Renaissance. His academic goal is to study writings that combine both literature and philosophy - specifically, writers that use form and subject matter to contemplate the age-old question of how to live well. His non-academic goal is to figure out how best to apply all that he learns in the real world. When not engaged in said lofty pursuits, Scott can be found playing lacrosse, reading books of all flavors, and watching films.
