Born and raised in Denver, J.J. Clark studied in the Denver Public Schools and slowly developed an unhealthy love for the city of Denver. His undergraduate degree took him north to Fort Collins, which treated him wonderfully until he graduated, when he came running back to Denver as fast as he could. Over the past seven years, J.J. has traveled through 19 countries, watched a lot of movies, made one independent film, and most importantly worked teaching elementary school children of Denver how to catch and hold crawdads in the South Platte River. His life finally brought him back to literature at CU Denver, but he may sometimes be found looking under rocks for crawdads on the weekends.
