The Office of Information Technology operates in a support role for every department and school on the University of Colorado’s Denver and Anschutz Medical Campus. Offering services from Help Desk to classroom AV support, web development to IT security and compliance, researcher application design to video production and everything in between that keeps the state-of-the-art campuses running smoothly.

OIT Help Desk

Please dial 4-HELP (or 303-724-4357) from any campus desktop phone to reach OIT Help Desk support or visit the Help Desk Chat portal at https://OITSupport.ucdenver.edu. Technical tickets may be opened via the Cherwell self-service portal.

Faculty and staff may also request OIT services through the OIT Service Catalog. The catalog can only be accessed on campus while connected directly to the CU Denver wireless network or off campus through VPN.

 How do I get VPN?

IT Services provides VPN (Virtual Private Network) capabilities to remotely access your computer files from outside the campus network. To get access to VPN go to http://itservices-web.ucdenver.edu

 How do I reset my password?

IT Services provides 2 ways to reset a lost password or locked account. If you have registered your account at https://myaccount.ucdenver.edu you can reset your account 24 hours a day without the need to call the help desk. If you have not yet setup your account on MyAccount you can register your account anytime. If you need assistance you can call the help desk at 303-724-4357 (4-HELP). If you cannot remember the security questions for your account the help desk can reset the questions and allow you to re-register your account.​2

 How do I claim my account?

Check with your human resources representative to see if you have been entered into the system. If you are a sponsored user you can register for an account at http://passport.ucdenver.edu and your department will start the process of getting an account setup. If you have any questions please call the help desk at 303-724-4357 (4-HELP)​3

 Where is OIT located?

Denver Campus

OIT has offices and facilities located on CU Denver on the 12th and 13th floors of the Lawrence Street Center.

Anschutz Medical Campus

OIT offices are on the 1st and 4th floors of Building 500 and the 5th floor of the Education 2 North building.

We do not offer walk-up services.
