File server access for faculty and staff

File server access is provided to all university faculty and staff.  File server access typically provides a home and departmental directory on community file servers. Each user with read/write access is charged a monthly fee of $10.00 which includes 4 gigabytes of space. Users are not charged for read-only access to the file servers. Additional file storage that is consumed beyond 4 gigabytes is charged an additional $0.50 per gigabyte per month. As this is a service, end-users would not have to worry about life-cycle issues with storage hardware or data backup as this would be managed by IT Services. All files are automatically backed-up, stored off-site and available for restore upon request.

Domain passwords reset

Domain passwords expire every 90 days. They must be secure, meaning they should include numbers, alpha and symbols. Passwords can be reset, preferably by registering with the Passport web site, if unable to do so, the user can then contact the university Help Desk at 303-724-4357 (4-HELP).

Community Printer

Departments with fileserver access can have printer queue's created on the print server by request.  Please contact the university Help Desk.
