The ESIL certificate requires four elements: (1) enrollment in the ESIL program, (2) participation in ESIL workshops, (3) completion of at least one ESIL internship, and (4) completion of the following courses and their prerequisites as stated in the University course catalog. STEM majors can complete the certificate by completing all of their major coursework and an additional three courses. Non-STEM majors can complete the certificate by completing seven courses (plus laboratory sections) in addition to their major requirements. See below for detailed course plans.
