Graduate Orthodontics Program

Orthodontic MSD Pathway Course

The Graduate Orthodontics Program has a proud history of preparing dentists to provide orthodontic treatment to a wide variety of patients. Initially created as a certificate program, the Graduate Orthodontics Program became a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) program in 2010. Understanding the positive impact a MSD can provide, the School of Dental Medicine developed the Orthodontic MSD Pathway Course which allows 2006 – 2009 graduates of the CU orthodontics certificate program to earn their MSD.

The Orthodontic MSD Pathway Course is a semester-long course accepting 15 graduates on a first-come, first-served basis each spring, summer and fall semester. Course tuition is $545 plus a $75 Anschutz Medical Campus fee. The course requires participants to prepare and present six case studies to the orthodontic program faculty and residents. Upon successful completion of this course, graduates will be awarded their MSD degree in conjunction with the next university commencement. Learn more about the Orthodontic MSD Pathway Course.
