Featured giving opportunity - in memory of school founder Donald Hoagland

​Established by local law firm Davis, Graham & Stubbs, the Donald Hoagland Strategic Initiative Fund was endowed in honor of Denver attorney and public health advocate Donald Hoagland. The fund provides curricular and program development in areas of developing or emerging importance within public health education, research and practice at the Colorado School of Public Health. Make a gift to the Hoagland In​itiative fund.​


Scholarship opportunities

Make a meaningful gift to a Colorado School of Public Health scholarship fund. Your contribution will enhance the support available to students studying in the classroom and training in the communitity. 

Judith Albino Diversity Scholarship

Created in honor of University of Colorado President Emerita and prior ColoradoSPH Interim Dean Dr. Judith Albino, the Albino Diversity Scholarship is provided to health professional students with a preference for students from federally recognized Indian tribes. Environmental & Occupational Health Scholarship Fund

Scholarship support for students pursuing a Masters of Public Health in the Environmental and Occupational Health concentration at the Anschutz Medical Campus.​ Make a gift to the EOH Scholarship Fund

Hamman-Hoffman Scholarship in Epidemiology

Created in honor of Founding Dean Richard F. Hamman, through a generous designation made by Richard Hoffman, MD, MPH. The scholarship invests in the education and preparation of future epidemiologists, specifically doctoral students currently enrolled in a Colorado School of Public Health epidemiology program.

Hoffman Public Health Scholarships for MPH and MS Students

The goal of this scholarship is to support the MPH and MS students who have high potential for academic success and high potential for contributing to public health efforts to promote health equity. Hoffman Scholarship recipients are nominated by each academic department following their acceptance into one of the school's programs. Awards are based on available funds and currently do not require a separate application. Eligibility is determined by the school's scholarship and awards committee. Make a gift to the Richard E. Hoffman Communicable Disease Control Scholarships

​This scholarship is awarded to either incoming or currently enrolled students in the School's masters or doctoral degree programs who 1) demonstrate high academic potential as a student; and 2) aspire to work on the control and prevention of communicable diseases in a federal, state, or local public health agency.

Anna Brinkerhoff Helms Memorial Scholarship Fund

Established in memory of ColoradoSPH alumna Anna Helms, MPH '14, who graduated with a concentration in public health communication from ColoradoSPH at Colorado State University. This scholarship will support students attending the MPH program at CSU. Make a gift to the Anna Helms Scholarship Fund​.

William M. Marine Preventive Medicine Residency Fund 

Established by founding residency director and professor emeritus Dr. William Marine, the endowment supports the Colorado School of Public Health Preventive Medicine Residency Program. For 25 years, the residency program has trained physicians in public health science, preparing them for careers devoted to health promotion, wellness and disease prevention.  Gifts to the endowment help ensure the success of this program for both the physicians trained and the public served.

John R. Moran Jr. Scholarship Fund

Established by the Colorado Trust in honor of former Trust President/CEO John R. Moran Jr., this endowed scholarship fund supports students at all three Colorado School of Public Health locations.  Scholarship support is critical toward future student success and program alumni are encourage to designate their annual gifts toward this scholarship fund.

Mim Orleans Graduate Research Fund 

Established by Professor Emerita Miriam Orleans, the Orleans Graduate Research Fund supports student research activities and associated costs including travel and conference stipends. Current students are eligible to apply during open calls for proposals - usually published twice per year.​

Calvin L. Wilson Scholarship for Future Leaders in Global Health

Named in honor of former Center for Global Health Director Calvin L. Wilson, MD, this fund provides student support including scholarships, travel and projects related to global health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

Program support

Making a gift to the Colorado School of Public Health general fund or a program fund allows our faculty to meet current needs in the advancement of our academic, research, or community service mission.   

Colorado School of Public Health Fund

The Colorado School of Public Health fund supports the school’s growing programs. Generally unrestricted, gifts to this fund can be made in honor or memory of the life or lives your gift will touch.   Because the school’s general fund includes open gifts, each dollar amount will go to an area of need within the school’s operations and programs.

ColoradoSPH Case Competition Fund

Established in 2014, this fund supports the annual case competition​ hosted by the students of the Colorado School of Public Health each year on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. This fund also supports scholarships for the winning teams, as well as the opportunity for support of the winning team's travel expenses to Emory University to participate in the annual global case competition. Program for Injury Prevention, Education and Research (PIPER)

The Program for Injury Prevention, Education and Research (PIPER) is a ColoradoSPH initiative that aims to contribute to the reduction in child, adolescent and adult injury and its outcomes in Colorado and throughout the world as a function of high quality research and effective practice. Make a gift to PIPER.​
