Student Code of Conduct
All students at the University of Colorado Denver are encouraged to review the Student Code of Conduct. This document serves to outline student rights and responsibilities, behavioral expectations, and the university conduct process. Additionally, students living at Campus Village must adhere to the Campus Village Handbook.
Each school or college has its own process for adjudicating allegations of academic integrity or misconduct. Please contact the associate dean of your student's school or college for more information.
Parent Notification Letter
We send parent notification letters to the parent(s) or guardian(s) of students when a student, under 21 years of age, has been involved in an alcohol or drug incident. A partnership between the parent(s) and the institution is valuable to working with your student. We hope that this letter will allow you to open the door to talk with your student regarding expectations about alcohol and drug use while at school.
Student Disciplinary Records are confidential as required by law. The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protects the privacy of student records. No party, aside from the student and those with a legitimate educational need, may view a student’s record without express written consent of the student. If your student wants to know what is in his or her record, they may request to view the record through our office.
