The CU Denver Student Wellness Center, Study Room 4.
Wednesdays from 1pm - 2pm
Come up Student Wellness Center and ask to speak with the Let’s Talk counselor. Talks are first-come, first-served so a brief wait is possible and feel free to have a seat.
The counselor will share about confidentiality and then open it up to your concerns. You can talk about anything, and we will listen, provide support and ideas, help talk through problems, and offer new skills to feel better.3
Let’s Talk consultations are informal, helpful and can be therapeutic, yet most students drop in about once or twice a semester, and the talk if often shorter than a regular 50-minute therapy session. When students find Let’s Talk useful, some wish to seek therapy with a counselor at the Counseling Center in Tivoli for 10 sessions, and we can easily help make that connection.4
Come to the CU Denver Counseling Center on the fourth floor of Tivoli 464, where a full walk-in appointment will occur during business hours so you can receive support for immediate crisis needs. This can include students with: concern about their safety or the safety of others, who have recently experienced a trauma, with urgent emotional experiences, or with intense psychiatric symptoms. If after hours, visit our Emergency page.5
