The Experiential Learning Center offers a wide variety of services to non-profit and government agencies in search of UC Denver volunteers. We hope that through our Center you may find committed individuals seeking to serve their community.

Attend our Volunteer Fairs
Join us each semester for our campus-wide Volunteer Fair. This is a great way to connect with UC Denver students, staff and faculty interested in volunteering in their community. Participants enjoy talking directly with community members and gathering information about agencies and their specific volunteer opportunities.

Provide a Project for Stop & Serve
The Stop & Serve program provides brief, on-campus volunteer opportunities for students each month. Students have the opportunity to work on three – four different community service projects focused on a variety of social issues in the community. Examples of past service projects include making fleece blankets for Project Linus to deliver to children in Colorado hospitals’ knitting beanies for the African Community Center to give to refuges, and decorating food bags for Project Angel Heart.
If you have a project that students could work on, please contact Eric Pianowski.

Become a Service-Learning Partner
Service Learning integrates volunteer service in the community with academic curriculum to enhance and enrich student learning while meeting a community need. Students will have specific learning objectives related to the focus of their class. The length of the service activity varies from a one-time service activity to volunteering a few hours each week over the course of a semester. Service activities may be project-based (i.e. creating a marketing plan for your agency) or direct service (engaging directly with your organization and community members). For more information, contact Eric Pianowski.
