Denver notifies freshmen admits who fall within the guidelines of this
policy by email, so please check your CU Denver email to see if you received
communication with the subject line: You're eligible for developmental
education and extra academic support at CU Denver! The email indicates
whether you qualify for additional support in the area(s) of English, Mathematics,

developmental education requirements, and note that these requirements should
be met by the time you complete 30 credit hours. If you did not receive
the said email, this policy does not apply to you.
the policy does apply to you and you have updated high school transcripts,
college credit or test scores, please let us know as it may exempt you from the
developmental education requirements. Please submit your updated records to the
Office of Admissions by July 15th of this year.
