Valerie will graduate as a Physician’s Assistant in August of 2011. After working as a medical assistant for the Pueblo Community Health Center for nine years, Valerie was able to fulfill her dream of becoming a physician assistant with help from the Colorado Trust scholarship. Her desire is to return to the Center with her new education and continue to serve underserved populations of the Pueblo area.
