Katja is completing her final year of her Nurse Practitioner education and will graduate in May 2011. She has entered the the health care workforce at the Grand County Public Health Department in Colorado as a Maternal Child Health Nurse. Grand County is approximately 1,870 square miles with a population of 14,391, all in rural areas. Katja plans on working at a small family practice in Kremmling, Colorado.
