Nicole joined the CU Innovations team in March of 2017 as the Business Manager and Executive Assistant for the Managing Director. She is the acting Innovation Coordinator for the Anschutz Medical Campus and manages the front office for the department.
Nicole previously worked for the University of Colorado as the Fellowship and Residency Coordinator for the Division of Clinical Genetics and Genomics where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Genetics and Genomics Residency, Biomedical Genetics Fellowship, and the Laboratory of Genetics and Genomics Fellowship.
Nicole got her start in academia as a college student at the University of Iowa with her first role as an Office Services Clerk for the Levitt Center for University Advancement where she supported the day-to-day operations of the Development Officers and helped coordinate events around town for philanthropic donors. She then moved to the University of Iowa Children’s Hospitals and Clinics where she was responsible for coordination of the hematology/oncology department. She was also heavily involved in the creation and implementation of the Pediatric Brain Tumor clinic with Drs. Mariko Sato, Satsuki Matsumoto, and M. Sue O’Dorisio. Nicole received her Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Iowa.
