Did you know that it takes an average of 17 years for only 14% of research to translate into practice? The University of Colorado’s School of Medicine has a new research center that will play a significant role in addressing this issue.

The Center for Research in Implementation Science and Prevention (CRISP) is one of three new national centers funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) that focuses on improving clinical preventive services within primary care practice.

CRISP brings together expertise in implementation of preventive services, practice-based research networks (PBRNs) and national authorities in innovative health information technology (HIT).
