Kasey Bowden MSN, FNP-BC is an Instructor of Medicine at the University of Colorado. Kasey received her BSN from the University of Kansas, and completed her FNP at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Upon receiving her Masters, Kasey came to the University of Colorado to participate in the Advanced Practice Fellowship, a unique program training NP/PA’s in medical care of the hospitalized patient. Kasey is now a faculty member with the Hospital Medicine group, and actively involved in teaching current NP/PA fellows. She also serves as a preceptor/mentor to several graduate students and current practitioners who are interested in the field of Hospital Medicine. Kasey is particularly interested in curriculum development for the Advanced Practice Fellowship, as well as education of the Graduate Nursing Student. Kasey is involved with the Advanced Practice Council at the University of Colorado Hospital, as well as several other committees
within the Hospital Medicine Group. Outside of the hospital, Kasey enjoys running, hiking, snowboarding, cheering on the Jayhawks, and playing the guitar.
