Family Medicine Grand Rounds

The DFM hosts Family Medicine Grand Rounds on the first Wednesday of each month. 

These meetings are designed to showcase family physicians, family medicine program, and new advances in health care. 

All clinical faculty, residents, and research faculty are invited to attend. 

Family Medicine Grand Rounds are held from noon to 1:30 pm at Rose Medical Center in Denver, CO.

​Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this activity the participant should be able to:

  1. Describe the many ways in general that errors originate, including human factors research.
  2. Demonstrate multiple examples of how errors are generated.
  3. Examine the concept of propagation, failure to recognize and failure to rescue.
  4. Discuss practical solutions to reduce errors, including the value of systems and communication.
