Interested in joining the Kieft Lab?
Current members of the Kieft Lab include those with expertise/degrees in crystallography, chemistry, molecular biology, and microbiology. We use a variety of methods and approaches, and this requires a diversity of skills and ideas. We are particularly interested in people with experience using in vitro assays with RNA, and using structural and biophysical methods to study RNA-protein complexes. However, creativity, drive, and enthusiasm also matter and we are always eager to meet those with different backgrounds as well.
If you are looking for a post-doctoral position, please contact Dr. Kieft directly via email. Provide a short letter describing your interest in the lab and also a copy of a current CV.
If you are interested in joining the lab as a graduate student, you should start by investigating the graduate programs available on campus (Graduate School). Dr. Kieft is a member of several graduate programs on the Anschutz Medical campus: Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences ("umbrella program”), Pharmacology, and Structural Biology and Biophysics. |
