The Amputee Program at Children's Hospital Colorado provides multidisciplinary care to patients with upper and/or lower extremity limb deficiency.
Whether the limb deficiency is congenital (present at birth) or acquired later from trauma or cancer, you have a team of experts dedicated solely to the treatment of children, teens, and young adults. Treatment options may include amputation or limb reconstruction.
Limb deformities can often be diagnosed via ultrasound during pregnancies. If this happens to you, please contact us. We offer prenatal consultations where we discuss ultrasound findings and what the future will look like for your child.
We're one of U.S. News and World Report's top-ranked children's hospitals in the country, and our orthopedics department is also nationally ranked.
