Biosketch
Dr. Little is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. He is the Medical Director of Emergency Preparedness for the University of Colorado Hospital and is Medical Director of the Center for Integrated Disaster Health Preparedness at the School of Medicine. He is involved in multiple planning committees for the region and state. Dr. Little’s state and NIH funded research involves disaster preparedness and computer decision tools for emergency management. He is on the Disaster Committee of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He is Chief Medical Officer of the federal Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT CO-2) as well as the National Medical Response Team Central (NMRT-C), a WMD response team.
